This year the Willing Worker's hosted a Christmas Party at Mountain Gate. A great time was had by all who attended! Some of our kids from Sunday School put on a performance, which was very entertaining! Everyone enjoyed the wonderful food, and then we had a Christmas gift exchange. Small gifts were brought and exchanged by placing tickets in a hat. Santa even stopped by and he had gifts for the kids! We also listened to some readings and sang Christmas Carols. It was a wonderful party and the time really flew by. Much thanks to all the Willing Workers and the work that they provide all through the year. Through their hard work and dedication many people both locally and afar were able to be helped in some way through their many ways of raising funds. Thanks so much and Merry Christmas!

The 2011 Frederick Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes was a huge success. This was the biggest year ever with 550 walkers participating! It was a beautiful day, and Grace Rocky Hill had 8 walkers attend. Together they raised 1065.00! One of the photos below shows Carl Miller (Orange Shirt) cutting the ribbon! Our attendees were Carl, Oscar, Dave, Sue, Betsy, Troy, Jeremy, and Alison. Thanks for being a part in such a great cause! Thanks Dave and Sue for providing the photos!

Thanks so much to everyone who contributed to the School Supply Cause with the Frederick Rescue Mission! Along with the generous contributions from the Children's Sunday School and Willing Workers, there were enough supplies to fill 20 plus backpacks! The Rescue Mission was very grateful that we could help the 100 plus children signed up that needed help!

Rally Day is held each year at Grace Rocky Hill to celebrate the start of a new year for Sunday School. This year we were blessed with a spectacular sunny day and the kids had lots of fun! There was plenty of food and plenty of desserts too, with a special cake to welcome Pastor Narvesen! After a prayer and food the kids were let loose to have fun on the playground and play games. We had a sack race that Pastor Narvesen even joined in, a scavenger game, and then an egg toss which luckily didn't end up too messy! After that the children finally broke into the totes of water balloons. As you can see, some kids didn't mind getting wet! All in all it was a great time to spend together and we are blessed to have such wonderful Sunday School teachers. Thanks to everyone for planning another fun event and thanks to God for everything He provides us!
